Akces entered into the Product, Packaging and Waste Management Database Registry (BDO)

Akces sp. z o.o. has been entered into the Product, Packaging and Waste Management Database Registry (BDO) under no. 000011861. The database contains information about manufacturers of packaged products operating in Poland, among others.

All entities which are required to submit a registration application (Akces suppliers) must do so by 24 July 2018. If an Akces supplier is not registered in the database by that time, we will be forced to halt any further purchases starting August 2018 or charge the supplier for the amount of the fine imposed on Akces for purchasing from an unregistered supplier.

The registration number should be included in the documents produced in the course of the company’s activity. Our suppliers are legally required to include the number on their VAT invoices (as well as other documents, such as receipts and sale agreements). The legal provisions do not specify the place or form in which the number must be included in the above documents.

The number on invoices serves as proof for Akces customers (e.g. retail chains) that Akces is monitored by the state with regard to its packaging and waste-related activities.
